George Michael

One of the best-selling musicians of all time

George Michael (1963-2016) is buried in the West side of Highgate Cemetery, on one side of his mother's grave. His sister Melanie is on the other. His monument bears his birth name, Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou.

To see his grave, visitors will need to purchase a cemetery admission ticket. Tickets can be purchased on the day or inadvance. The location is marked on the Visitor Map as 'George Michael'.

Please do not leave any tributes as they will be removed and disposed of. As a mark of respect, please do not stand on or in front of the grave to take selfies.
